In her commitment to foster a conscious, just and sustainable world, Judith has served as a teacher, consultant and coach for over 35 years.
As a social change artist, Judith was a founding trainer for the Rockwood Leadership Institute’s Art of Leadership programs and co-founder of the Peacemaker Institute’s year long program in the inner and outer skills of peacemaking and social action. She currently co-leads international leadership trainings working with students from more than 20 countries. Judith has a strong passion for supporting women and girls into their power and leadership.
Judith has pioneered an ecumenical and inclusive approach to integrating spiritual principles into daily life. She brings to her work decades of spiritual study and practice, serving as a teacher and guide to advanced students.
Trained as a clinical social worker and in numerous alternative modalities, Judith’s early career was as a licensed psychotherapist. A former teacher at Naropa University and the University of Massachusetts, she regularly offers programs on leadership, coaching and women’s empowerment at adult learning centers such as the Omega Institute, Hollyhock and Esalen. With Robert Gass, her husband of 48 years, she also leads retreats for committed couples.
A writer, artist, dancer and the delighted grandmother of two beautiful boys, Judith’s love of life is contagious!
